Our work in schools is currently focused in Sheffield. We provide 3 Safer schools partnerships within secondary schools in the city. This involves placing a dedicated full time restorative practitioner on site in each school. Their role is to support the school in developing a ‘whole school’ restorative approach when addressing conflicts and issues. These may be pupil/pupil, pupil/staff, pupil/parent, parent/school, school/local community issues- again ensuring that an holistic approach is taken to using a restorative approach.

To date we have seen a 50% reduction in the use of behavioural sanctions across the schools in which we work.
