Remedi are a voluntary sector charity founded in 1996 providing restorative justice services and training across the youth and adult criminal justice system, in a family and community setting and in schools.

RJC_Restorative_Service

The RJC wants to make sure it is always done well so that people harmed by crime and conflict can be confident they’ll get a safe, effective service that meets their needs.

“The reasons why I volunteer are varied and when put together it becomes a compelling personal case. I’ll take two perspectives of the training given and the effect it has on the people I work with. Personally, the training Remedi offer is superb as it is straight to the point and gives me the ability to “hit the ground running”. The actual practice of volunteering gives a me sense of fulfillment when attempting to improve the conditions of living of those I work with whereby observing a positive change gives me a personal warm glow within.”
