Remedi Training
Remedi provide a range of Restorative Justice training opportunities. The primary strength of our training lies in the fact that we are also practitioners and are able to offer practical solution and best practice models based on actual experience of working in these arenas.
Our training falls into to distinct categories- RJ Youth Offending Teams and Mediation Skills. An outline of current training packages is given below. This is not an exhaustive list and we are more than happy to discuss tailor made packages for organisations should they so desire.
Training For Youth Offending Teams
- One day training workshops looking at the following issues- Victim Participation and Satisfaction, Victim Awareness Training in a Youth Justice Setting, Restorative Justice and Victims in the Referral Order Process, YOT Inspection Preparation. One day training workshops are usually facilitated at our Head office in Sheffield.
- On site training packages delivered for YOT groups- One and two day packages looking at- Referral Order Panel Member Development, Establishing Best Practice Systems, Developing RJ.
Mediation Training
- One day introduction to mediation skills training package.
- Four day mediation skills training package designed to equip participants with the necessary grounding to enable them to commence supervised practice as a mediator.
